Like a virgin, for the very first time (2005)

These are the pictures I took when I just stepped foot into Melbourne. It's interesting to see the things that caught the eye of a 17 year old boy venturing into the outside world all alone for the very first time.

It is very unlikely that I'll take pictures of these sorts ever again. It is so easy to overlook the things around you after experiencing the same thing every other day. Things just didn't look the same anymore and they just became part of a routine.

Sometimes, by clearing your mind from any biases, prejudices or judgments, by forgeting the routine, and take time off to notice the details of the people and places around you, you might just see things in a different light, or experience the same emotions you felt before, or something different altogether - it might just bring a little bit more into your life.
